The Contractor Deluxe portable sawmill is designed for the professional sawmiller. Computer controlled with a hydraulic drive for accuracy and precision, the Contractor Deluxe is the ideal stationary mill for your main site, or it can be easily transported to remote sites by 4WD, quad bike or by hand.

The hydraulic drive propels the saw head and returns the cut timber, allowing the operator to stack the timber while the mill is cutting. It has a separate power source and variable speed control which can be set while you are cutting. With the superior milling power given by the 12x6 inch (32 x 15.24 cm) cut, the Contractor Deluxe sawmill comes with options of 25, to 65 hp engines.

The quartersaw arrangement (horizontal and vertical blades in combination) combined with a powerful diesel or petrol motor, delivers accurate, guaranteed square boards, cut quickly and easily. The Rimu mill is designed so you can cut right down to the bark, maximising your timber recovery. Because both cuts are made in one pass, the cut board slides out as the head returns.

With a maximum vertical cut of 300mm (11.8 inches) x 150mm (5.9 inches) horizontal, the Rimu mill delivers the biggest cut in the price range.

Each contractor mill sold includes:
2 x 8 metre adjustable tracks, 1 x speed brace and socket, 1 x 2.7 metre straight edge, 1 x level, 12 volt sharpener, users’ manual and loading turntable.
